ALDES Introduces ECM motors in Light Commercial Ventilators

Blog
Heating & Energy Recovery

ALDES Canada, a premier developer of ventilation products and systems has some exciting additions to their light commercial series of Energy Recovery Ventilators (ERVs) and Heat Recovery Ventilators (HRVs). These solutions are especially suited for small businesses, schools, parking garages and indoor pools.

ALDES is now offering six models with electrically commutated (EC) motors. They use around half the electricity of the existing alternating current (AC) models (i.e. Permanent Split Capacitor (PSC) motors) at high-speed continuous ventilation rates and up to a whopping 80% less at low rates.

High-Latent Transfer ERV Cores
In addition, the company’s exclusive AHRI-certified High-Latent Transfer Enthalpy Core (HLT) is an added benefit on the E650 and E1100 models. The HLT core has better latent recovery performance and moisture transfer than the units with polymer core—and for around a 10% lower price.
